In Anoitecer (Nightfall), I follow the slow birth of the moon rising behind the mountains of Serra do Espinhaço. The landscape becomes a stage of transition, between the light that fades and the shadow that arrives.
The series is a meditation on the encounter between lightness and weight: the luminous fluidity of the sky contrasting with the mineral rigidity of the earth. Each photograph captures that instant when the horizon becomes a stage. The moon moves, the stones remain.
In this silent dialogue exists an almost ritual tension between what rises and what resists, between time that flows and what seems suspended. The result is a sequence of visual breaths, where the movement of light reveals the profound rhythm of the landscape. A time of its own, mineral and serene, where the world withdraws and the gaze expands.
