Amid thick leaves, thorns, and brief blooms, the Cerrado writes its narratives at an intimate scale. Stories from the Thicket stems from bringing the gaze closer to what we usually overlook: time acting on matter, the cycle of opening and fading, the quiet reinvention of each plant.
These photographs dwell in the hinge between budding and withering, between freshly lit color and its slow dimming. Focus isolates details — veins, pollen, skins — while the ground stays diffused, leaving room for the unforeseen. There is no spectacle here; there are processes.

To photograph this place is to listen to the biome’s tempo. I am drawn to how color shifts with light, how rain alters the relief of petals, how wind reorganizes the frame.
